"The pasty that I took with me on the train for lunch was excellent. It was the steak and vegetable pasty. The pasty was full of vegetables and steak and had just the right amount of spice to enhance the excellent flavours. To find the outlet was a little difficult at first. It was really just a window in a wall, and was beside an arcade and the amusement centre and on the harbour front. I'm glad I tried Phips Cornish Pasty as it was delicious, and I highly recommend it to those who would like to try an authentic Cornish pasty."

"Absolutely love this restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff are really attentive. This is our second meal here as a family and it really is a little gem. I would recommend the chicken tarragon tagliatelle and the pizzas are first class. Love it!"

"We ate at places during our little trip to stives that was the best restaurant where we ate. the muddles stood out even though they were served with chips, but was much better with brot (we ordered this separately). the sauce was great. the best of all time."
