"I was happily surprised at how good the wine was at Kleine Zalze. This is probably the best value for wine I have experienced thus far. Great wine at really reasonable prices. You can choose from unique and scarce variaties. The only thing it lacks is the view of the beautiful mountains. But will definitely be back again."

"Amazing croissants- some of the best I've ever had and the sourdough bread is fantastic. The only criticism I have is with the pasties de' nata, while the pastry was good, the filling is quite inconsistent and pretty lumpy- great flavour though! All in all a must visit."

"We stopped by this place because we heard of the fabulous playground for the children there. And we weren't disappointed! There is a huge jungle gym and play area outside the coffee shop with lush green lawns and lots of space to run around or play ball games. The seating area is basically right next to the playground and lucky they put up some shade. We went there on a super hot day and were happy to relax in the shade. The kids had fun on the swing and jungle gym and they even found a toy box with additional things to keep them entertained and happy on such a hot day. The coffee shop is a self-service establishment, so you will have to order inside. But this is not an inconvenience at all and there is lots of things to choose from. They serve burgers, salads, pizzas, toasties and a kiddies menu as well as pastries and cakes. We can definitely recommend this place even if you go there without your bike. But if you do, you and the kids can also enjoy a bike track and kiddies track."

"The most grounded, unpretentious weinbauernhof they find in Stellenbosch. middelvlei is the next one they get on a weingut on the farm to the lifestyle of the farm. in the restaurant middelvlei boerebraai prepares her habitable Braai expert her cuts, boerewors and chicken sweets for perfection. the homemade aromas of potbrood, braaibroodjies, homemade pâté and ouma annies pumpkin fritter make it still something special. the little ones also get their own little Braai box, which contains French fries, boerewors, juice and jelly tarts. the children can see the used animals and feed them that keep them busy for hours, I can guarantee them! I would recommend this authentic South African restaurant to anyone looking for a simple, delicious meal."
