"We have been coming to Bear for ages and always have a great time. They do delicious lunches and cakes. Then later on a Friday and Saturday they serve yummy pizza. I feel very comfortable there with my baby and dog. The staff are friendly, often saying hello to our dog. It has a nice calm atmosphere. Highly recommend for coffee and cocktails."

"Cant beat the Fitz for that country pub atmosphere. Great good, great service and a decent range of beers. Outdoor area isn't the best but the inside is so nice you wont mind. Really enjoyable in winter months when they have the open fires going."

"Eating was very nice and the portions decent. beautiful cuts from meat cooked to absolute preselection! loved the series of veggies with our sunday roasts. coffee and tees made beautiful. the young ladies who serve us were very helpful and friendly. beautiful clean and bright atmosphere but which was really after us, first I am deaf and need to use a transcription serrvice based on the internet. I was told that they had free wifil, which was in order, but it was very laborious to come on, including the registration and force us to sign up for marketing! second, when we demanded a bill, we were handed over a phone with the bill that was implicit, we had to leave a review of the place before the payment, no one said it was a good opportunity! let the people pay! so yes, nothing wrong with food, but the implicit enforced question and try to access wifi for reasons of communication, somehow made it less fun."

"This used to be our favourite takeaway. The last few orders have been a let down in quality. You keep ordering hoping it’ll be as good as previously. But tonight, they forgot half the order, so I had to phone and ask where it was. 45 minutes later it arrived. Not good enough."
