"Amazing little cafe serving fresh delicious snacks, meals coffees. Very impressed with the layout , very comfortable clean light. The food was great , good food home cooked presented very well, all fresh and very tasty. Service was super very friendly nothing too much trouble. Well done Clarrens you have got it spot on ! "We have been a regular customer for many years. We have never had issues with the service or food. However tonight’s visit was appalling. The service was slow and wasn’t as if it was busy. The starter was great but the rest of the meal was for me not edible. We ask for the veg to be steamed extra as I don’t like raw veg. When the meal arrived there were extra veg and it was raw. My meal was roast turkey with the usual stuffing roast potatoes Yorkshire pudding. The turkey looked like it was processed meat and had blood in it. My wife’s meal was almost as bad. Safe to say we won’t be eating at the Throckmorton Arms again. Which is a pity as we have never had a bad experience there before. I also think £3,50 for a coke is way overpriced."
