"A nice countryside pub with a lovely garden that had plenty of seating and a fantastic view across the Chalford valley and in to the distance. Good range of drinks and the food was fairly good home cooked fodder quite a lot of which was vegetarian. Good staff and friendly atmosphere. Dogs welcome which is always nice. Would recommend this pub anytime. Enjoy!"

"Stayed at this delightful country B B for my husband's birthday. It was beautifully decorated and we stayed in The Dovecote which was very quaint with beautiful exposed beams. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Our evening meal was absolutely gorgeous. Everything was cooked from scratch and so fresh with homemade bread, marmalade biscuits. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Also had a lovely welcome from their gorgeous dog Bakkus? Not sure it's spelt right!!!"

"We were three families a dog arriving unannounced at 1pm. Have you got tables? Yes, but not outside that will do! Even though we were three separate families, paying individually, they took the order as one and we paid separately. All food arrive together, impressive for 11 people! Food is very good. Portions perhaps on the large side so make sure you are hungry! A wide range of beers, lager and cider available."
