"This was our second visit to Old Lisbon and we went with friends promising them a wonderful dining experience. When we arrived the restaurant was 2/3rds full and we were seated quickly. Our waiter took our drink (bottle of wine) and food orders and we waited for our appetizers to be served. We were splitting 2 appetizers as I knew from our last visit that the portion size is large enough to split. The sausage croquettes did come out in about 15 minutes but our eggplant dish did not. Finally we called over our waiter and asked where it was and he claimed that we had never ordered it when in fact it was the first dish we did order and we repeated it to him twice. As some time had transpired since we first placed our orders we asked if the reordering of the eggplant dish would interfere with our main courses being served as we didn’t want them served together. He said don’t worry so you know what happened next, they came out virtually together. On a 1-10 scale the waiter’s attention to detail would be rated a 1. Aside from screwing up the order he never visited our table to see if we needed anything unless we called him over. The restaurant added the gratuity to the bill which may account for the poor service. The food was good but the service was awful and we will never go to Old Lisbon again after this experience!"

"Really enjoyed the ambiance and food. We went for dinner and sat inside because outdoor dining was full. There were singers for song requests. The lamb samsa was flaky and flavorful. The Squash Manty was really tasty. The Greek Salad had an amazing dressing. The staff flowed between Russian and English easily."

"I've come to this restaurant for about two years. The first time I went to this restaurant was random. My wife and I saw it from the corner of our eyes, and we had to try. Last time I visited this place on Saturday, July 16, 2022. In terms of prices, this place is very reasonable and generous. As far as food quality is concerned, I can say that it is by far one of the best small restaurants that my wife and I have been to in recent years. We make the pilgrimage that Mecca visits for this small place because we live about an hour away. We love this place. We were impressed by every court we tried. For the context, my wife is the most selective of the eater. Not in a pompous/arrogant way. It requires quality and good taste because it likes cooking. She loves finding new kitchen in YouTube and creating it at home. This place leads the highest bar in our house. I also want to take the time to clarify some of the other bad reviews. Some people can complain about the service. I think that's ridiculous. This is not a Michelline Star restaurant or a ridiculously expensive chic place with chic people. It doesn't pretend to be like that, and that was never meant. This is a small restaurant that people dare to taste new foods and are happy to sit elbows to elbows. Every day people who understand that the most important thing in food is quality of ingredients, hard work and consistency. This place delivers."

"Delicious. Super friendly staff. Fast service but crowd . Parking lot get full due to location of other restaurants. Seat outside is better than inside since the kitchen is very close to the tables. It worth it to wait. 5 stars service. Arepa super pelua is a must."

"In the past I had enjoyed Timo, but the service has severely deteriorated. Tonight, I visited with 5 executive colleagues. I from out of town. We arrived at the restaurant early at 5:45. We were made to feel as if we were homeless people looking for a handout, because the restaurant didn't open until 6 p.m. even though we were senior executives on an expense account. Instead of being invited to a table, we were forced to wait outside while the hostess and some staff did nothing at the bar. It was an embarrassment and a disgrace. We actually did wait until after 6 p.m. and when the doors still did not open we left to go to Morton’s where we were greeted quite warmly. This restaurant has developed a lot of problems with staff and is destined for failure."

"We had a party of six and the service was fantastic. You didn't feel rushed as a couple of our guests got caught up in traffic and were late but the waiter made our wait pleasant and understood our situation. I would definitely recommend for a special occasion."
