"We stumbled upon the restaurant while in NYC for the holiday and what a surprise it was for our family. After being in the service industry 30+ years, I know a thing or two. The lighting in the restaurant was so pleasing. A nice soft glow. Also, very cool wall architecture. We did not have a reservation and at 630 they found the room for us. The service was outstanding. Aside from the waiter, we had no less than four other people taking care of us at one point. Polite, efficient and graceful. We started with the Wellfleet oysters super luscious and tasted of the sea. The only negative; no spoon to serve to migionette and/or cocktail sauce. For entrees, the ladies had the Red Snapper with pattypan squash and Salmon Gochujang rice. Terrific. I had the Lamb Chops with a Moroccan rub and yakitori glaze. Phenomenal. Dessert also didn't disappoint. Creme Brulee was top of the list. Fresh Vanilla bean throughout. The ladies had sour cream layer cake and cheesecake parfait with carmel poached peaches. Unbelievable. To finish it off, I had a 2009 Sauternes which was out of this world. The menu is small but there is something for everyone. We did not see the bathrooms but most patrons really don't use that to rate an establishment but it can be important. 5 stars. We will be back. John Fuller Waterford, CT"

"Ordered delivery of The Original American Chicken and it quickly became together and into my hands within half an hour. I chose a family dinner: 1 whole chicken, Pita bread and 2 pages. $18.50 if the order in-store, but with the delivery there was about $25 including tax and service fee. There is a decent selection of 20 pages, but not many of them have impressed me. I ended up with a potato salad and Yuca/Cassava. The potato salad is not bad, but the Yuca was a bit dry and tasteless. The chicken was good and damp! It is slightly seasoned so that I added some of my own spices above, because I like extra flavors"

"Elaborate eckspot that serves delicious hispanic-American favorites. they make a big take-out business, but have simple seats for about 25. the staff is friendly and helpful. we share an 8 dollar roast pork lunch special and had a lot to eat."

"Great service and delicious food. we had the avenue to start the otopus and the cortex. all were amazing. possibly the best tare I ever had was super fresh and with the perfect meaty / solemn balance. I had the laughs as my head and it was perfectly medium-sized rare. the taste was a hamm more than sea / mineral, but it was very pleasant. my friend ordered the duck cake, which was really unique in a sauce with granat apple seeds and possibly flavoured with orange bark. very surprising and delicious! the only part was the decoration and the environment that had a raised diner cleaning. So I had my doubts about our dinner first. but I was more than pleasantly surprised! So, yes incredible meal, I think they just need to rethink their interiors."

"The customer service here needs some major work. I know people say New Yorkers aren't friendly and it's not personal, but this is a restaurant in a pretty high-end hotel. The workers should act like it. The woman who seats people for breakfast alwayslooks irritated and is so rude. When you are accidentally in someone's way, the other workers will tell you extremely unkindlyto stop being in the way. Better language and attitude could really go a long way. Clearly this hotel didn't provide an adequatecustomer service training, if at all."

"My 6 year old had a personal shopping appointment here and she never stopped smiling she smiled and shopped for an hour! Our personal shopper tour guide was amazing and really did a great job with being patient and teaching her about the dolls she ultimately picked a doll and accessories and set a date to return to visit the hair salon. Thank you for creating a great memory for my daughter."
