"We've been coming to this place since forever!!!! Although the price have changed over the years, the taste and their warm welcoming staff are always reliable. We still love their fish and chips (seafood platter). Just be careful of the seagulls lurking to snatch your food."

"Whenever I'm around North Sydney I duck into this place to get my fish n chips lunch. Sometimes I get the variety box which you can choose 6 pieces of assortments and chips (always with chicken salt I usually get seafood sticks or fish cocktails. The calamari is a bit dry but that doesn't stop me. It's great if you're in a hurry and don't have long to wait for you food, it gets served up pronto. Chips are crunchy, and cooked better than most places, either that or I just prefer more crunchy chips Pricing is good, can get a feed for less than $10."

"We arrived at 10am and it already crowded! When we walked inside, we were tempted by the stall in front of Peter's Seafood. There were two staff grilling scallop with mozzarella cheese at the bottom. So we decided to give it a try and the taste is so yummm! The cheese was melted, the scallop was fresh. I suggest to come early to avoid the crowd."

"Choices galore for the seafood lover. The market itself is noisy and chaotic but that is part of the charm. Don't miss the pelicans that dot the market. Only minus is that there's no assigned seating and so if you are there solo as I was, you will have to hope for the best - (a) finding a spare table (unlikely) (b) sharing a table with a group (unlikely) or (c) finding an empty bench next to the parking pay station (likely) - after you order and collect your food."

"This place is just a great Fish & Chip takeaway shop. It's your classic joint smelling of chip fat and salt & vinegar. It's exactly what you imagine when you think of fish & chips. I got a works burger for $6.50 and it was perfect. Nuff said."
