"We went to this restaurant because we saw that it was the highest rated Taiwanese restaurant in Taipei on TripAdvisor, ahead of Din Tai Fung (which was really good). What a disappointment! The food is ordinary at best. In fact about any other Chinese restaurant I have tried was better. The sweet and sour pork had pieces of bones in almost every chunk of meat! We ordered water to drink and got a pot of hot water! The waitress didn't smiled once and was rather unfriendly. The atmosphere was somber. It might have been good a few decades ago but certainly not now."

"Managed to get a table for weekend dinner. As usual, their food is top notch. Very different from your typical Chinese fair. This is another league and we are really fond of it. This time ordered Braised pork belly which was super duper tender and flavourful. Stir fry beef with kai lan which was delicious as well. Beef was on point, not overcooked and tender. Ordered the usuals pork liver and grandma noods.. which again consistently delicious. Will return without a doubt. Highly recommended but do make reservations in advanced to avoid disappointment."

"Domineering lobster bee hoon suppe $498 it is really a big lobster. the lobster is not sloppy. the meat is fresh and sweet. next to the lobster there are many mushes. I counted 32 in this bowl! the rice soup is full of seafood sweet signature lu sanbao $100 the number one in the load if they haven't eaten it, they have never been there. there are lus thick-arm head, lus mouth meat and Lu-Schweinohren. they are really delicious and delicious. the big darm is not enough to bite but the part is refined $498 32 100 $100"

"Traditional Taiwanese dishes such as Cai po egg, fried oyster, sweet potato porridge, stir fried sweet potato leaves, etc. Free flow of sweet potato porridge so you can eat your fill. Always a must visit place for me and my family when we visit Taipei. A little on the pricey side but still worth the price."

"Food overall was great. However, there was a small cockroach running on my table toward the end of my meal. Very disgusting. Even though it is common in Taiwan, it still upsets my stomach. They are very thoughtful for elders. They set up an auto chair for handicap to go up to 2nd floor. Popular items can be gone before 1pm but replacements are also very good."
