"Best place for a Sunday beer! This is one of Auckland's ,oldest pubs. "The Private Dining room was perfect for our celebration. The food service was excellent. They were so helpful, accomodating and nothing was too much trouble. They made us feel special we truly appreciated it. I highly recommend booking this and we will be back."

"I do love a good Caesar Salad, so my standard here is high. I had it with chicken added and yes, went with the anchovies. I was certainly not disappointed and neither was my wife with her salad which included jalapenos (too hot for me). Great and attentive service!"

"Recently went their with a girlfriend after finding most places were closed late at night. Expected low quality bar food and service (especially from the reviews I saw) but was pleasantly surprised by good service and really nice tacos and fries. So good (though it gets a bit messy and leaks as you eat them) that I had cravings for their chicken tacos again. I returned with family and there were like 6 of us and though we were the only family there, the staff were again really friendly and accomodating. The sizes and quality of their food felt quite generous. We ordered food to share and I especially enjoyed the tacos (again), criss cross fries (i get excited whenever I see restaurants serving this), nachos (SO generous packed full of meat and salsa) and ribs (not the best, but still above-average). Had a pleasant night. Think I will be back."

"Typical English styled pub with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating areas. On the day of my visit there was only one person at the bar which made for a wait. The beer promo was poor, 3 out of the 4 choices were not available despite a sign been up advertising the deal."

"Discovered this restaurant by accident but I'm definitely coming back again! I came to north shore today wanting to have a quick lunch and I found NZ Tang. I ordered a Spaghetti Cabonara. Western cusine in a Chinese restaurant but its surprisingly good. I was so impressed by their decorations so I walked around the place and took some photo. I love their neon light sign on the seond floor and I will be coming again with family next time."
