"Rachel, server, 5 stars! Knowledgeable, pleasant and enjoys her job. Food freshness and taste 5 stars. Nice presentation. Restaurant looks great and fresh. Menu is smaller but fresher. Miss the oyster stew...alot!!! But overall a great facelift for Lowerys. Fried oysters look and taste like beautiful Pearl's, crab burger fresh and delightful. FF good, buttermilk pie is the finest."

"Although I wish there were more vegan options, the one available, the 'NN Plant Burger ' is a GREAT option it 's delicious! And the restaurant itself is so well thought out; you can tell just how much love the owners have put into it. For example, in the bathrooms, a silly 'wash your hands ' song plays and there are stickers for kids to put on to proudly show they 've done so haha. The restaurant also has the claim to fame of having the largest LOVE mural in the state. I never would have guessed such a small town as Tappahannock would have such a gem as NN Burger!"

"We have been at burger kings in recent years since they have introduced the impossible whopper. Usually it tastes like gum because it was either overcooked or it just didn't matter. not here they were actually the foods were actually all the good, best wobble rings I had ever had at a burger king the pommes were on point everything was great"

"While taking a day trip around the eastern portion of Virginia today, my wife and I stopped by Fairways Bar and Grill. As you may have guessed from the name, it is on a golf course, so it would not be expected to blow us out of the water. Overall, the restaurant is very well kept. Bar or traditional seating is available. We arrived around the lunch hour and were proceed the lunch menu below. My wife went for the chicken tenders (no surprise here) and I ordered to Cuban sandwich, side salad and a Miller light. The waitress was excellent and responsive. My wife said the chicken tenders were good tasting. The Cuban Sandwich was much more than expected. They did not skimp on the meat. More mustard would?ve complemented the pickles and rest of sandwich well. Overall, good experience for a golf course bar and grill."

"1st impressions when entering the place was almost wanting to turn around and leave. They had a lot of tvs showing different sports which was cool but their decore was some cheesy stickers of various sports teams on the wall and older looking booths to sit at. We were greated by a friendly employee so we went ahead and sat down. Our drinks and appetizer came out quickly but our main meal took a lil bit of time. While we waited our waitress never came back out so I had to go up to the bar to get a 2nd beer. The waitress then came out and told me they sold their last ribeye earlier in the day so they couldn't make my sandwich. I then ordered the Barn Yard Burger. So when our food came out all looked great except there wasn't an egg on my burger. They were out of those too. All good just bring me out the lettuce, tomato, pickles and mayo. The burger patties were nice, thick and perfectly cooked! Our waitress was very friendly and we could tell she didn't want to disappoint by telling me they were out of certain items. Decent place with your typical bar type food."
