"S. Oak was a fantastic dinner spot. We had the quail and fried green tomatoes were both outstanding. Our mains were great too we had the elk and trout. To top it all off, we shared a basil and peach crumble. Simply delicious. The service was prompt and attentive without being intrusive. Our waiter Trang and the the bartender were both incredibly nice and authentic. We spent about with tip and drinks for dinner. This was a wedding celebration so we anticipated a pricey bill but this felt more affordable than I thought. I would recommend S. Oak for any occasion but especially an important one"

"Amazing food! This was our 3rd dinner in Telluride and while the food was incredible the service was really bad. At least from our server. He seemed very dismissive and judgmental. I ordered a drink that never came and when we asked for our check he quickly made the drink and had it sent over even though I no longer wanted it. The bartenders were amazing and helped us close our check since he stopped talking to us altogether at that point and he watched as they helped us without saying anything. Good food but it's been awhile since I had service that badly. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Lettuce Wraps, Spicy Duck Buns, Cauliflower Appetizer, Brussels Sprouts"

"If you need a quick, inexpensive meal, look elsewhere- but the food drink staff were very good. Many fresh brews from which to choose, including root beer and ginger ale (cider was from local distributor). Food/ingredients fresh and locally sourced when available. But for a family of four, wasn't looking to spend over $200 for a lunch (that includes tip)."
