"The entrance is unassuming, the venue lighting is pointillistic in nature, the colors are grey with earthy undertones, a few splashes of color on the walls. The net result of these details is to put the focus on the food. And while on the subject of food... well, that is why you're here, right? It is nothing you should expect... and everything you would expect. The wine pairing with the meals was spot on and served with a smile. If you ever (I mean EVER) have the opportunity to enjoy a meal here, don't turn down the chance."

"This is hands down my favorite ice cream. I like it better than traditional ice cream in that it is made from sheep's milk and has cleaner ingredients. I like the Fresh Mint and Chip, the Brown sugar, and the Vanilla Bean. The Strawberry Basil is an unique one, but not something I could or want to eat everyday. It is always good to eat local food products from local businesses."

"Stopped by this quaint town called Templeton and saw AJ Spurs Steakhouse. So glad we did!!! The food was wonderful and such large portions were served. Soup potatoes to start, and a very sizable menu. We all found a dish that suited our taste…the kids loved the decor and also were very excited at choosing a toy from the safe. My little one even got to ring the bell…The service staff was extremely friendly and helpful, as well. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a full belly! Thanks, AJ’s – we’ll be back"
