"On our journey, we found ourselves in Little Korea, and stumbled upon Mama Chef.....First of all, the parking lot is at the back of the building, so you park ... and you smell. where is that coming from!? So we walked up the block and turned the corner and followed the most wonderful aromas! We found Mama Chef, a quaint little Korean restaurant that was clean, the server was very efficient and really nice. It was a very busy little spot, which is always a good sign LOL! Appetizers are non stop, you eat it, they replace it! So bring your appetite!"

"We had read really favorable reviews for this place, and we were looking for Korean food with a bar. For us it turned out to be a so-so local dive bar. Clientele was young, and the music was hip-hop. Food was OK, but not a foodie destination. Service was friendly, but English was definitely a second language.I thought prices were a little high for what you get, but it's still a place we'd go to if we lived around there and didn't want to change from jeans and a tee shirt."

"I would recommend to try Korean BBQ from this place. I ordered pork shoulder and beef. Portion was okay, but I found the price is little expensive. But the side dishes were delicious. The cold noodle was very good, you should definitely try with pork. Good thing about this place is the watiress will do bbq for you."

"All and all very good experience staff was quick and informative. Food was good especially short ribs and beef. Kimche seemed to be bit more sweet and not spicy. Washrooms defenatley need bit love. Overall will wisit again once I have a chance."

"Overall: My go-to place for Korean food- tasty side dishes, generous portions, good service <br/ <br/ When I asked my Korean friend where to go for good Korean food downtown, she recommended me this place. She was right! The restaurant is very clean and the service is good. I asked the server what to get, she instantly recommended me the Pork Hock- which turned out to be the best choice! Their Small Pork Hock is delicious and it comes is very very large in portion- I had hard time finishing, even though I shared it with 2 other people. The side dishes here are tasty- and comes in variety, too. I want to come back here and try different dishes!"

"The stonebowl bim bap is available with chicken, beef or tofu. It has a ton of veggies in it (a good variety of cooked and raw) including seaweed, radish, cabbage, mushrooms, and beansprouts. The flavours were all pretty standard. The egg was a little overdone on the bottom but overall it was a good dish."
