"This place has been my go-to Indian restaurant in Upper Hutt since I moved here. I always ordered takeaways but decided to dine in this time. Ordered prawn masala like usual but received saag instead. Told the lady it wasn't what I ordered, but she was quite insistent that I was wrong and she was right. It was embarrassing and disappointing experience."

"Took a client there for a lunch and we both ordered steak the bartender very friendly and made it very simple for me to made a tab, kept an eye on our drinks so he could quickly serve us again, steaks were perfect and took 25 mins, prices weren't bad, only thing was the steak was on the smaller side."

"A regular fave for my sister and I ... food always delicious and service great fab coffee. Visited today with two hungry boys, one with pancakes, the other scrambled eggs ... both delicious meals and very generous portions. I had my fave eggs bene. Another great visit, thanks Cafe Rome."
