"I have been coming to this bakery for 62 years i used to come with my grandparents when i was a little girl every Sunday after church. I make all of the same recipes as my grandparents and in order for the recipes to taste the same i need to buy the same ingredients i have moved out of the area many years ago, my parents used to have cheese and bread shipped to California for 10 years until we came back to the east coast. I now live close to Boston and i have been all over the North End the Italian section) and i can't find the same Pecorino Romano cheese so i make the trip to Utica at least twice a year to get cheese and bread as there is no other place like Napoli's. My travel is 5 hours one way but it is so worth it. Their tomato pie is the best as i get that also. i have tried other places in Utica for cheese, bread and tomato pie but they can't compare to Napoli's. Thank you Napoli's for allowing me the carry on the tradition of my heritage and recipes my children also come to Napoli's for their ingredients so the tradition lives on in my children and grandchildren."

"Lucca never misses. That have the absolute best gnocchi I have ever had. Their portions are huge and you can plan on leftovers. Great when warmed the next day. Our favorite when we visit Holden and always on the list."

"I saw some negative reviews before we went, so little worried. But it was a great experience! They serve COLD bread. That’s how they’re supposed to be. Refrigerated cold, they were delicious!! Salad has heavy garlic, which is tasty. Service was very quick, right BEFORE we finish appetizer, they brought food. Actually we didn’t have to wait at all throughout."

"They gave me food poisoning from there pizza was not fully cooked at all ….called to tired to let them know that they gave me food poisoning and the manger of the store was very rude and told me it was not possible that I wouldn’t get food posioning until 72 hours after eating my food"
