"What an amazing place, tucked away in a village this superb restaurant deserves all the praise I can give. Service is 200% as is the food, the young lady who served us was on point the whole evening. An excellent menu with a variety of choice. I had Game with all of the trimmings, topped off with an excellent Portuguese red wine, a perfect evening. Thanks to everyone at Bären for an enjoyable evening"

"Pleasant traditional place with excellent food and high quality service. Wonderful white wine soup with chees cream. Tender and tasty strogonoff veal. Espressely made apple pie. It was so good that we asked for doggy bag! Restaurant is in an old bealding. Room is lovely decorated with family portrait paintings. Worth the trip!"
