"We had the quail and the meat was so tough it was impossible to cut. The only part of the meal we were able to eat was the mash and vegetables. The rhubarb pie was passable. The cappuccino was made with milk that had gone off. Unfortunately, a regrettable experience."

"If you're a roast potatoe fan, this is the place to go. No frozen chips here. Excellent fish and chips or chicken schnitzel in a crispy, savoury, crunchy batter. Everything was piping hot...even the personalities of our hosts."
