"First time back to Michel's Genuine in a while and it's not what it used to be. My wife had the kale salad and the kale was hard and not well prepared. They used to have WONDERFUL short rib pasta but that's off the menu. The focaccia bread came out piping hot floating in a pan of grease and was pretty bad. Overall strange service (we were in the middle of talking and they cleared our table and even took the water we were still drinking) the server was slow and seemed to be having a bad day. Overall not the place it used to be and on our list of places that used to be good but is now OK probably our last visit to our favorite VAD restaurant."

"First, we were denied a booth because they needed it for another party. Two hours later, the booth was still empty. The second glitch was when my wife ordered halibut and minutes later, The waitress came back to the table and said that the halibut that they had left was “not up to par.” Well we appreciated her honesty, the extended timeframe was a bit disconcerting. The food that we did get tasted wonderful, but the overall experience was tainted by the lack of accommodations and slow service"

"I love the food! I love the drinks! There is outdoor dining, bar and private dining and great for a family dinner too. I have been celebrating my birthday dinners there for 3 years and the staff is always kind, friendly and fun. Thank you! They did an excellent job in keeping all the great ambience even through the pandemic despite the changes they made. It is much appreciated! Thank you for singing to me and being a great place to eat! It feels like family"

"Frederick's Wine and Dine is surprise to have in a strip mall! Good food in large portions on the higher end side make for a good time for 2 or more. Only drawback was there was only one waitress, but she was a dynamo easily handling the after Sunday service crowd. Will definitely recommend to others."

"Server barely was at our table and took almost 2 and a half hours for our meal because it was impossible to get him to order, get leftover boxes, and pay our bill. Then almost didn't get part of our leftovers due to the server never brining them out. Food was pretty good but service was not worth coming back."
