"Think the last review is of somewhere else, this is a chippy not a restaurant. Anyway my wife and I stumbled across this gem on a circuitous route home from a weekend opp north. We had the Papa special and for the price it was excellent value. More to the point the chips were tasty and the fish batter light. Mushy peas tasted good too. Pleasant staff as well. Use this chippy, to good to lose"

"In the city for a night to work and found this little jewel. simple cod, chips and muddy heaps and it was delicious. large part, very friendly service and very cost-effective in comparison to what I pay at home. the rest of the menu also looks great and I will certainly go back there. highly recommended."

"Eating is really great from here, but the “ chicken curry” was a bizarre looking concoction and tasted and as it was from a zinn; cheap cube boiled chicken and a very watery “curry” without real taste. we also ordered “chips, rice and curry” at the same time and this curry was the usual, beautiful curry they would expect. if you want curry, then order it as a separate element from the menu instead of the “Reischips and Curry chicken” option. the delivery was slow, but it was a Friday night. order showed how delivered on justeat app, nor had the driver with him when I called to ask where the food was."

"Because in England, food is basically almost everywhere disgusting, and even chinese and asians modifying their foor for british, i havent expected something eatable. Surprisingly, food we had few times was quite tasty. We will return back for sure"
