"I came especially for her ube waffel with fried chicken and ube eis and it was not disappointed! the chicken could be a bit less dry, but the whole dish came together very well! the spicy mango margarita was amazing. I recommend that. I'd get it back when I get back. the service was also amazing. the waiters looked after us very well and were very polite, friendly and attentive."

"The only reason it isn’t 1 star is because the wait staff are amazing and attentive. Review is purely based on food, no drinks ordered at this location. First off, holy fry oil Batman- this fry oil is older than my cat. Fries so dark they look like they deserve reparations. The chicken skins are questionable at best. Weird texture and off flavor. Got the Nashville chicken sandwich and same issue. I don’t know what they coat their chicken skin in but this black woman from Kentucky does NOT approve. The final straw was they serve burgers, but have no gluten free buns. Unacceptable as they are literally 25 ft (or less) from the best gluten free bakery in the whole state. *bonus points that they partner with tiki on 18"

"My Husband and I are big foodies, we both cook pretty well, and I was raised eating the best Filipino home cooked food. So going to Filipino restaurant where I have to queue for an hour is like “why am I doing this, huh” kind of thing. But, these guys at Bad Saint surprised me. Well, they are not in Washingtonians top DC restaurant for nothing. They had a “current way” of interpreting Filipino food but the flavor and taste are faithful to their roots. Every dish brought back memories of big weekend lunches and dinners with families in Davao and Manila. Happy place . I highly recommend Bad Saint. It’s worth the long wait in the queu."
