"Attended a 21st birthday party here. Did not expected to be impressed by the food but everyone raved about the brunch menu items we order. I had the chicken and waffle it was good. Just wish waffle were more crisp a little to soft. Owner was very visable and walked the floor checking on us and other guest. Would definitely recommend for brunch or just place to kick back and have a drink. I took off star since parking is an issue"

"What a wonderful place to go on Valentines Day. I took my girlfriend and we were very impressed. The service was excellent, it was a very romantic feel, after 9, and the food was delicious. The scallops meal was the best I have ever had. Would get it over and over again. Highly Recommended!"

"Came here last night, had a great time! It was a nice speak easy with amazing staff. Our bartender was knowledgeable and helped us select drinks that fit our preference. The cocktails are well balanced as well as priced appropriately! The ambiance is amazing, you walk through a brick door and step into an underground bourbon room style space. Nice low lighting and mostly quiet setting to spend time with friends or a partner. Parking is difficult since it is U street but the metro stop is close by. Overall, highly recommend it!"

"Overal I'm glad we did it, I definitely can't say I'll do it again though. The price is a bit much and we didn't get a window view. I do also wish you guys left the dock at 6vs 7 so we could see a bit more and watch the sun set. Drinks were definitely a bit over priced especially after already paying over $350 for the event. But it was a great ambiance, our server was Very kind. Also I would have liked better music to dance to or just kept it the classy romantic music the entire cruise."
