"There are a few donut places in Northern Virginia and D.C. that do the unique topping thing (maple bacon, peanut butter and jelly, pecan pie, etc. but I don 't think any do it better than Astro. I 've tried at least a dozen of their flavors and never been disappointed! Their creme brûlée donut may be the best donut I 've ever tried. That donut in particular is not the best for a breakfast but it makes an incredible dessert! I also want to say that these donuts are the more fluffy type of donut as opposed to the cake style of donut. Also, this is a great location if you are a tourist visiting D.C. short walking distance to the Mall and the White House."

"Some of the best breakfast you can get around the capitol! Their breakfast eggs are extremely good and definitely worth the price. The breakfast egg cheese and meat sandwich ranges around $7 and with a drink is just slightly above $10 however it is all worth it. The building itself is very clean and well maintained. It seems like it gets packed in waves, but the team is great at managing and getting everyone their orders. Everything is made in front of you and you can genuinely see the care that gets put into the food. If you are staying near the capitol this a must breakfast location!"

"I was in and out of here in 3 min. There wasn't a line and the sandwich was made very fast. If you are in a hurry this is a good spot to come to. I had the Vito sandwich with peppers. It was very good. I wasn't a fan of the bread, but it was soft hand which is nice. Friendly service and plenty of seating. I was able to sit outside and enjoy my sandwich."
