"This place is average at best. The food is for the most part bland. Here's a rundown of some of the items I tried...black pepper beef-tender, no pepper flavour...chicken wings-big but greasy...torpedo shrimp-cooked so long they were hard...general tao chicken-should be spicy this one was sickly sweet...egg roll-pretty good...lo mein noodles-good...pretty much everything else was plain and unremarkable. Didn't not try the fake sushi as I did not like the look of the avocado. The service was good, the restaurant and bathrooms were clean. It was $10.20 taxes included for lunch. Was the kind of place which would appeal to people who are looking for maximum volume and questionable quality."

"Good food. Large Portions. GF options listed on the menu. There are not too many but Pad Thai is one of them. I had the ginger chicken. It was very good. Still, cross contamination is likely possible here."

"Highly recommend the mango salad it is delicious! Also the Fab 5 chicken, shrimp, cashew as an entree. It is so full of flavour and fresh perfectly cooked veggies. We get it a few times a month and is consistently delicious every time. Portions are...quite generous but leftovers are still yummy the next day!"

"This is a small restaurant with seating for maybe 15 - 20 people. The decorations are intriguing. On the wall is a beautiful, large picture of a White Lotus in keeping with the numinous atmosphere that pervades the little restaurant.English is not the first language spoken by the propietor so a pencil and paper are provided so youcan write down your order. Good idea!It is quite a varied menu with a fine variety of choices of appetizers, soups, noodles, rice, curries and so on.I chose the Spicey Thai Coconut Sauce with Shrimp and I am glad that I did. The dish arrived with at least six nicely cooked large shrimp in a delicately spiced sauce with a wonderful fragrance. I had wondered if the "Spicey" adjective would turn out to be a "mouth on fire" sensation and I was very impressed with the subtlety of the wonderfully flavoured coconut sauce. There were lots of beautifully cooked carrot slivers, snow peas and other healthy vegetables. My partner chose the Red Curry Chicken with Steamed Rice and was equally impressed by the quality and quantity of the flavourful but not overpowering spices.This seems to be mainly a takeout restaurant, at least when we were there. We were the only diners seated at a table but there was a steady stream of customers arriving to pick up their orders.I do wish to return soon. It was really good!"

"Sushi 99 was a delicious. Not many sushi places were open for dine in but Sushi 99 was. the food was hot and fresh and came quickly to the table they have an all you can eat and a regular menu. the food was as described and matched pictures. server was friendly. prices weren't to expensive. I throughly enjoyed my visit. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a good sushi place in Kitchener Ontario. If you haven't tried sushi do not worry a place like this offers more than just sushi, they have steak, salmon, rice bowls, salads ,soups. so even if your friend or SO likes sushi and your not sure you can still give this place a try"
