"What a wonderful little pub this is. We didn’t book for food but after a lovely pint of Exmoor gold we decided to order food. I ordered the fish pie and my partner had ham egg and chips. Both were excellent and very generous portions. Ham was butcher quality and eggs had orange coloured yolks coming from happy hens. My fish pie was one of the best I’ve had. Mike and Pauline are a lovely couple and made us feel extremely welcome. 4 pints and two main courses for £45.00 can’t go wrong. We will certainly be back soon!"

"We have dropped by this cafe a few times over the years and without exception had to wait a very long time to be served and even longer to receive our order of coffees and cake. Very popular with pedal cyclists and could do with more staff. A victim of their own success in our opinion."
