"There are a massive amount of food choices here but the best thing is that the market is humming. Live music, happy people, busy stall holders etc all make for a cool and buzzy vibe. We came for half an hour and spent two and a half hours here. The market is undercover so the rain didn't matter My food highlight was the vegan fish and chips which were divine."

"All ice creams I had in nz are far too sweet for my taste, including that of zelati. but I don't think I should point them out because they just wait for kiwis to have a penchant for much sweeter things than I. All that is said, the brownies in zelati are delicious as all their baked goods are. really solid choice for a dessert!"

"I went here for lunch and was really impressed with how nice the food was. Babousa has a small menu, but many marked vegan options. And the vegan options are good! I had the Koshari bowl (which spicy rice, lentils, chickpeas, tomato sauce, fresh herbs, onions, crispy cakes) along with a hibiscus tea and a little cake. It was such a nice lunch (but also fast and cheap). Would definitely recommend."

"This place has many vegan and veggie options, with meat options a mind. the anti-food is healthy, tasty and balanced no foot food, and there is a simple but beautiful sounding brunch menu also. a journey to lunch with the ministry is the health workers!"

"Although not all vegan the staff are SUPER knowledgable about what is and isn't vegan. Their personal recommendations are always good to try and they have vegan friendly samples which is good. Just wish they didn't charge extra for dairy free milk"
