"Bak Kut Teh (SGD $13.90) Joo Siah Bak Koot Teh. . Serving their signature peppery garlicky savoury soup for over 30 years, their rendition isn't quite as potent as other brands, but is certainly appetizing and drinkable. . The pork ribs are tender enough to come off the bones easily, but have a chew, with meaty savoury sweet peppery flavour. . The preserved mustard greens are nicely soft stewed, with a slight tangy note to complement the vegetal savoury sweet flavour . Dunk the hot crisp pourous you tiao dough fritters in to soak up the soup; refills of the delicious broth can be had over the counter. . Among the best BKT in West Singapore, and well deserving of their Michelin Bib Gourmand Singapore 2021 recognition."

"Japanese Chinese style restaurant. Really crowded on Saturday night, so maybe book ahead of time. Waitresses 6 10 service. Food sets are worth it, come with rice, condiments, fruit and your choice of meal. (see half eaten pic for reference) Pretty nice ambience, and feels like Japan. Quite a wholesome homecooked vibes hearty meal and i liked it! felt very complete and different for other restaurants. Come and visit if you're in this area"

"Bring my wife to chill after trekking in the bukit timah natures park. she was impressed by the facility, the coffee, the mushrooms olio and the great selection of freshly baked muffins. lots of parking space, strongly recommend friends. will be back for more food and cold. cheers"

"Had a good dinner time with family here.. We were given a nice big booth seat at first, however due to my mum having some issues with her legs, she preferred chair seats... the manager gladly helped us with a change.. Manpuku Salmon Set... the set comes with soup, chawamushi, Idako, baked clams, main dish, rice and fruit . Idako was left out when served and came after my dad finished the set. That was a pretty big set. My dad enjoyed it! Teppan Gyoza was good, very hot! Its 5pcs per order So good that we repeated the item for round 2. Sushi and maki items were all good and fresh! I like the Mentai Ebi Fry Roll. Kids meal, gotten a Turbo Jet for my girl, she loves it. The set was filled with things that kids loved! She dont quite like the fried chicken pieces due to the sweet sauce. Portion abit too much for her cos she is small eater.... but yes, she is happy with the cute plane set! Apple juice was served in quite a big glass. Value for money. Service was good, Manager Magaret was pleasant, helpful and full of patience.. another male manager in specs (didnt manage to get his name) was also pleasant and jovial. Upon payment, I had problem with my membership log in, Manager Magaret was patience and nice to advice me on what to do. I was asked to check thru the items before paying.. BUT.... Jus realised when i am typing this review and looking at my receipt "

"Used to buy them while they are after never ..it is quite filling how u can choose half glutinous rice half brown rice. the mock meat taste good with the rice and sauces just a little expensive when they see the amount .. but overall great taste!"
