"My wife and I stayed here a few months ago and decided to return. This was our second visit since the building was flooded. We started with a jug of sangria and ordered chicken with mushrooms and prawns stuffed with crab meat. Both starters were delicious. A salad was served with the meal. The dining room gets quite noisy, but it is worth enjoying some really excellent food."

"This pizza was not so good and drunk, on average. Dough was salty and not very good, sauce was sprinkled like salt and pepper. I literally ate cheese and bread."

"Hands down this is the best pizza you can buy in winnipeg. I have ordered every pizza on the menu and they are all awesome. They make their own sausages and cheese. Its thin crust cooked right on the stone of the oven. So good! Try the meat balls when you go. It has a patio and a small restaurant inside. A lot of the time it is full but you can pick up and your order is usually ready in 10 minutes. If you eat in though they also have super good desserts. The wine is awesome from Banville and Jones! Go and give it a try."

"Driving down Sargent ave trying to decide what to eat for dinner and decided to stop in at Casa Grande and give it a try. It has a classic Italian restaurant look;red and white checkered table clothes, brick and arches, pictures of old Italian guys on the wall, etc. <br/ <br/ We ordered calamari to start, and while I liked the flavours, I felt that either they didn't fry it long enough or the oil wasn't hot enough, as the batter didn't crisp up. <br/ <br/ Had a salad as well, which I did enjoy. I thought the shredded mozzarella was a good touch. <br/ <br/ Then came my pizza. Delicious! Crisp crust, nice amount of cheese and toppings. My only regret was that I didn't order a larger size. <br/ <br/ The service was good, too. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back."

"It was perfect after the afternoon matinee at rmtc. We could just walk from the theatre. the ambiente is beautiful. the live guitarist delivers good background music without being obtrusiw. the menu is varied enough with empanadas and Cuban melts in addition to the pizza. the salates are great and great to share. all very tasty and excellent service as well."
