"This pub is a little off the beaten track but well worth the effort. My friend and I were lucky to get a table before Christmas without a reservation. The real ale was decent, and my pirate pie was humongous — and very tasty! Lovely morsels of beef, veg and gravy left me feeling stuffed. My friend had one of the smaller pies which he enjoyed as well. Good job."

"Myself and my mum who are brown, were served undercooked food and nicely told the server that it is raw. We were met with vile racist remarks of how they don’t like to serve our people (even though the food was raw) and they were rude throughout the ordeal. They ended up charging my charge for the full meal even though they binned all of it. Horrible place with horrible people"
