"We use your takeaway delivery service about twice a year, normally our experience is 5 star all the way, however last night we found the food below the normal standard, the Chicken tasted old and re-heated, and the Korma sauce/Gravy was watery and lacking taste, rice however was good, and delivery driver friendly, I hope this is just a one off bad night, food was always delightful from here, makes me wonder if the restaurant has new owners? Service: Take out"

"Sunday lunch for 4. Great choice of roasts. Served piping hot. Good to find a pub serving Sunday lunch as your mum would have cooked it. None of the pretentious serving the meat on a platter or stacking layers. Reasonably priced, generous portions, good honest pub grub. Reasonably priced. Loved it."

"Absolute no go! Rudest owner I have ever met and bar member of staff (Sam). Unfortunately we decided to give business to The Waterton Arms and have the after part of our son’s christening there. The appalling service started on arrival when the owner was telling people to wait when asking to order a drink because he was busy counting heads. We were unaware we had to pay for entry. There was no seating set out to accommodate our christening party and it was a very hot day and no tables had parasols outside. The food was an extortionate price for the quality we received. We had guests asking for a plate and the owner refusing! It was so embarrassing for our family when our guests informed us. They then charged us an extra £50 to put more plates out!!! We were actually providing The Waterton Arms with a lot of business by choosing them for our venue. But still now shocked at the service and will definitely never be returning, I would urge others not to! I actually had my baby shower at The Bull in Deeping and we had no issues at all, the service was 100% better."

"We like to go to restaurants, we like good food, good service and a beautiful atmosphere. we were also in the majority of restaurants in stamford. mama! liz’s is simply the best in the city. eating is excellent, delicious and fresh. if they are not sure what I can recommend the ribs. I love this place, and if we ever come friends to visit us, then we take it. I love this place."
