Cafe Ambio Ings - South Lakeland

This place is a hidden gem! Who would have thought stopping at an Esso for a sandwich could lead to such delicious, filling, locally sourced food served by friendly staff in a lovely environment! Definitely worth making a detour for if it's not already on your route. The food was delicious!

The food is excellent, the service is quick, and the staff is friendly. The large car park is also convenient for groups. We will definitely be back soon!

A great cafe next to a bike shop, what's not to like.

I love this lake district café at the esso tankstelle and next to biketreks. all about it is great, the personal is on the ball, professional and friendly, there is money for charity and really cares for customers. how could you ever think about going into a profitable, treat-the-sweet, tax-avoiding costa or dieucks when there are so local businesses? my choice every time for a pre- or pre-Kajak or semi-motor bike tour breakfast or brunch. and you can refuel your vehicle, get cash from the toll-free cash machine and use the excellent small load. and if you are a cyclist, you are in your element. ask for small questions: bratkartoffeln or hatchbrown with the really excellent breakfast please, and a bit more change on the veggie breakfast. then my vote would be 100% instead of 99%
