Only stopped for a meal drink. I was expecting classic fish and chips. Instead we got breaded plaice instead of cod. Normally I don't mind plaice for a change but found the fish very very thin and the bread crumbs very thick and hard. Cook from frozen meal? Mmm not sure but it was ok. Stopped off for lunch. Welcoming, Pleasant period inside. Felt like a proper village pub.
Lovely place. I was staying locally for a few days so decided to have our last meal at the Crown. Great choice X The menu offered was good hearty meals and served with a special thought for presentation. Delicious food, good service and lovely warm welcome. Thankyou x
Outstanding service food and event, such a nice place to see Micheal Goddards relatives. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and chatting with family.
