ambiente inside with decorative furniture, lamps and theke very beautiful (modern lock), unfortunately a chair was too well held. the food offer promised on the map a culinary event, it also tasted, but unfortunately the type of services was disturbed. in this price situation you would like to have a contact partner and actually also fishing staff with servier knowledge and not in the sport look and not the teller ab... The former Schuster winery was acquired by the Pohl family in 2010 and has been cultivated for the last years peu à peu. At the end of 2013, the tastefully renovated winery with Vinothek was opened. In 2014 there was a guest house with 8 rooms. The symbol of the winery is the Kallstadter Löwe, the lion's head and the color purple are encountered throughout the property. Winery on the Nile with guest house in the background In front of the sun we seek protection under a parasol, of course a purple parasol and we first approve a cool 2013 Ungsteiner Riesling 7,40 € 0.25 glass. The fine mineral note with subtle fruit delights and refreshes. Three Bruschetta „à la Nil“ with roasted garlic and chilli 6,50 €” Three Bruschetta „à la Nil“ with roasted garlic and chilli nice little snack. The 2013 SAUMAGEN Spätburgunder 9,70 € 0,25 glass, on the other hand, is a completely different powerful complex caliber with a lot of red fruit. To this end, we did not make a cart that: “Cross roasted Alentejo Chorizo with Sippel’s strawberry schnapps at the table flambit and tranched – €10.90” curious. Kross fried Alentejo Chorizo with Sippel's strawberry schnapps at the table flambit and tranchesVery spicy Portuguese sausage with fine, regional noble brandy, which is actually too bad for flambia. The Portuguese intervention is owed to the sister winery in the Alentejo, whose wines are also offered here. Winery at the Nil Interior A chic winery that delights guests with very friendly, motivated service. And so it is not surprising that besides cyclists like us, also some Nobel Roadster park around the Winzerhof. In any case, a nice change if you have already tasted in the days before elsewhere enough Palatinate Trinity or Lavender Nug with Sauerkraut, because this does not exist here. Winery at Nil
Sumptuous Wines, exquisite Cusine, and an Ambiance that wraps you in a warm embrace, that's how I will always remember our visit to Weingut am Nil.
While staying in Kallstadt, we had lunch there. We sat outside on a lovely afternoon and enjoyed good wine and a snack of excellent Parmesan cheese with balsamico. We explained that we only wanted a snack and they treated us as if had ordered an...expensive meal. We had a very relaxing time after a walk through the vineyards and also bought some bottles to take home. It was on a Sunday and it was busy. As soon as a table became free, it was taken again. It is a very stylish place.
I had a valentine's dinner and we had a very good time. Both our meals were tasty, well served and the dining room was nicely decorated. A bit too noisy to my taste, and we were not a lot of guests at the time. Plenty...of parking behind.
We went on the spur of the moment thing. There was no reservation so we were put on a table share. Not a problem. The food was great but the waiters were very busy. Even though this was a Wednesday we ended up waiting a...little longer than we would have liked. Price was what we expected. Great food but not enough staff.
