What User doesn't like about The Old Rectory:
Poor sevice. Cold food, waited half hour for it. One plate had about chips another missed coleslaw it was meant to have. Overall really not impressed and so we complained to a lady who didn't help and was very rude. Gone downhill since new...owners have started... View all feedback.
I can't find any fault with this restaurant. The service is always excellent, the food is perfect, and the value is amazing. We had two great meals, a beautifully presented side salad with a delicious house dressing, a pint of beer, and a large glass of white wine, all for under £20 for both of us (not each!). After a recent overpriced meal at a steakhouse, there is no comparison - The Old Rectory wins hands down. Thank you for a wonderful experience, we will definitely be making this our regular meeting spot and recommending it to all our friends. Well done, The Old Rectory!
I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. Emily provided excellent service and the food was delicious, fresh, and satisfying. The menu had a good variety of options to choose from. I will definitely be coming back again.
Most if not all members of staff myself and other members of the party spoke to was rude couldnt get us out quick enough and didnt have half of the menu, but they didnt tell us this untill we had ordered, so we got half the meals we were supposed to.
Terrible!. Went here with my family as was told the old rectory had been refurbished...yes the place looks nice but the staff are still rude and no sign of any management. I would suggest you need a manager and staff to reflect the nature of the business....customer service is really lacking...at least last year in the summer they had this right.
