"O Peixão is a relatively new restaurant set facing the beach in Santa Cruz but not actually on the beach. It has an interesting and varied menu catering for all tastes including a children’s menu. The ingredients are first class as is the cooking of the chef patron, Pedro. The staff are polite and attentive but not overly so. The setting looks plain from the outside but is wonderfully airy and well designed inside. This is currently the best restaurant in Santa Cruz by some margin and I would recommend a visit, be sure to book to avoid disappointment."
