Friendly staff. Casual atmosphere. Delicious, flavorful food. Great prices. I got the number IV combination lunch plate: chow mein, fried rice, sweet sour pork, and fried prawns. Yum! I will definitely be back! Mei Mei is one of the few Chinese restaurants where the food has wok hei, i.e., the distinctive charred, smoky flavor from high-heat cooking in a well-seasoned wok. What DDubya doesn't like about Mei Mei Chinese Food:
The staff was friendly, but unfortunately the food was pretty awful. Ordered Kung pao chicken an mooshoo pork, war wonton soup and pork fried rice. The chicken had a strange aftertaste and wasn't even a little spicy, and the chicken was overcooked. We enjoyed none of what we ordered, so we wasted almost $40. View all feedback.
Just sat in the restaurant with my nephew. The chicken fried rice was completely nasty. They must have cooked the rice with fish oil. I bit into something hard when I took a bite of the orange chicken. Absolutely worst chinese in Tracy! $28.00 down the toilet. My dog even turned his head to this disgusting food. Don't go here!
L think they overserve. Not a complaint just an observation.
We went to this Chinese restaurant for the first time yesterday. We saw alot of good reviews so we tried it for lunch. Big mistake. We spent 31.80 on 2 lunch specials. We both got the sweet and sour pork which was completely tasteless. The pineapple was rotten. My husband's pork fried rice was inedible because it seemed very old and the egg in it was curdled. The chowmain was terrible. My husband can't even find the words to describe it. The only good thing was my white rice. We threw everything in the garage. I wish I would have brought it back and told them to eat it. Stay away and don't trust the reviews!!!
The Wor wonton soup is worth the drive from Modesto to Tracy
Always good and consistent, best Chinese food in Tracy. Christine is always very welcoming
