"We had a poor experience here. Tried to get a cake, told it would be 15 minutes. After 15 minutes heard the waitress tell new guests it would be 15 minutes! At this point we didn't want to wait longer and asked to pay for...our drinks. Again we were kept waiting ages. When we went inside to try to pay the owner was rude and insisted we wait outside. That is the closest I have ever come to leaving somewhere without paying. Being fair, others were having main meals and the food looked fine. The building however looked very tired and dated loos especially. It is set up inside as a big self service presumably for the ski season. There are two other restaurants on Penken one of which is brand new so I'd give this one a miss."

"Where to start?... friendly staff even on the busiest of days (New year's day), easy to pre book to avoid any waiting time, amazing food and good value for money, helpful when my friend was injured and could not ski but still made sure that...he can get onto the mountain to join the group for lunch, great wine list, cool atmosphere both on sunny and grey days. Would highly recommend and will defo be back. Special thanks to Flo and Mara. you guys rock xx"

"Very cozy invite with very friendly staff. that eat tastes, but has personally not snatched me from the stool (I had bee cookies, these were good, but have not been among the best I had eaten in the environment).) the portions are very large and the prices are really more than appropriate. recommend after a day on the slope!"

"I visited the hotel during the summer and I could not believe how cheap it was. My wife and I got a beautiful room with the view at the Hintertux glacier. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have an excellent restaurant with a wide selection of local specialties. Bus transportation in the Tux valley free of charge. I recommend it."

"You drive the valley with joy and expectation for the amazing skiing you are engaged in. The mountains of the street are captivating your imagination. Simply find the inn and it is abundant off the parking lot and attached pizza restaurant. More about it later. Your hosts who also run the restaurant, and are in the middle of the top apres-ski, stop what they do, welcome you with name, and soon give the keys to your room as you have a mate they have known for years. The room is large, clean, cozy and welcoming. Bedlinen warm and welcoming and shower area perfectly. Treat the balcony in front of a great view of the mountains. On the ground floor you will soon be visited by your hosts with the friendly feeling, and order from a compact and excellent menu. Not long after you enjoy excellent homemade Italian-international dishes and feel great in your new favorite home from home in the mountains. Enjoy! I certainly did it and I will be back for more."
