Crow's Nest Tavern Marina - Venice

Amazing dinner! Online reservations are always a plus. Huge wine selection. Food was amazing. The grouper and salmon are to die for. Best dinner I had on my whole trip. And the view during sunset was so beautiful.

The crows nest is a beautiful restaurant, especially in the crows nest part of the building, which is a small tiki like rooms with plentiful windows and window covers if needed. The seafood is great! Can recommend the Escargot enough. The salmon is perfectly boiled in a duck and served on a salad. I ordered the Arugula Salad with salmon and it was honestly so perfect; Beet was not super tasteful and the Vinaiigrette was super light. Nothing was recommended for the Grouper. Free bread, butter, hummus and oil. Great for big or small parties, but reserve!

This was our 3rd or 4. Let's eat here, but our first time we eat down in the tavern... Let me say by saying our previous visits that I rated these 5 stars for both food service... This time I got a bowl of seafood as an app calamari like my entrée... The seafood Bisque was good, but far overpriced I am embarrassing to say how much I paid for it... The Calamari was quite openly overbreaded; if it wasn't for the Marinara banana pepper, it wouldn't have any taste... My wife said it was just okay, but she wouldn't order it again... Very nice restaurant with great service. Get there before 5 pm to have the 5:30 specials on the upstairs enclosed deck. If you like oysters they have blue point and pei oysters that are tasty.

Highly recommend. Great service. Perfect location with great views (while eating outside walking around), rentals across the parking lot, nice walking area along the jetty. Drinks were beautiful tasty. Food was on point. Reasonably priced.
