Absolutely AMAZING dinner! The restaurant is beautiful with fresh flowers everywhere! Service is outstanding! We celebrated my mother’s 91st birthday. Saeed, the owner, treats you like family the moment you walk in the door. Beautiful french music, high end china and silverware and overall decor makes you feel like you’re in France. What Butterball Fluffypants doesn't like about Cafe Renaissance:
The food did not seem to be made at the restaurant. The beets in the beet salad tasted canned. I left all of them on my plate and no questions were asked as my plate was removed. The onion soup did have a delicious broth but the halibut entree seemed to have been microwaved and the almonds on top were not toasted. "We called ahead to check on the availability of gluten free sauces and were given inaccurate information. I misunderstood how my order was being handled (my own fault) and instead of trying to help me figure out how to fix it, the employees rudely and repeatedly pointed out that they were not to blame. Food was fine, but the only gluten free sauces are plain gf soy, sesame oil, and gochujang. Not super impressed."
