We stopped in on a lazy, off season visit. The town was shuttered tight with only a few places open for a bite to eat. This spot is open only during lunch and sits right on the port with a few tables outside. We enjoyed a trio of tapas (not Spanish) fried cod balls, chicken wings and cheese stuffed jalapeños. We had glasses of sangria and topped off with a nice calvados soaked crepe with cinnamon glacé and apples. Ev... View all feedback.
What Reilly Wisozk doesn't like about La Brasserie du Port:
the most affordable of the seaside resorts. Not the nicest, but it's worth a break. I recommend the 20 euros of salad niçoise. delicious, abundant and excellent raw materials. I'm not sure about the rest! View all feedback.
We passed by La Brasserie du Port as we wandered along the harbour and the sign for sole meuniere caught my boyfriend's eye (he's always a fan and we asked to reserve a table by the water for later than evening. To be honest, as it was so busy around, I didn't really expect that there would be a table waiting but I was delighted to be proved wrong! I didn't have a starter but the other half had some calamari a huge portion! and then we both had the aforementioned sole. In all honesty, it was a bit cold when it arrived (but then it had gone back inside to be filleted, so probably my own fault , but tasty and overall rather pleasing. It's quite hard to tell which tables belong to which restaurant along the harbour but, even if you end up here accidentally, I'd not imagine that you'd be disappointed. We were also fortunate enough to be treated to an unexpected and amazing firework display from across the water whilst there too! (Fabulously friendly staff, by the way thank you!

The price was reasonable given that everything is pricy in this part of the world. Recommend the place for an easy going meal in a cozy, beautiful location.
Local beautiful, the products were fresh, the pleasant service, the addition was reasonable...We'll be back.
Very good cooking, but offers brouillon; sinner's daughter with grilled fish very good (but 29€), pizza, tapas, with the name brewery??Vin too expensive (32€ entry range, 6€ glass...)Super service
We have lunch in this restaurant with a groupon offer: a basket of fishermen (fish and seafood caught the day): the idea is attractive. good reception, the dish in question was correct. the grilled fishes were fresh but small ( merlu, sardines, tuna nothing very surprising) with in the middle of the dish a shell garnished with a few slices of calamar donuts, two shrimps, these should not be fished the same day. In short, the idea is original (because it makes a good idea that is a little original considering the number of restaurants nearby). For the price pays 35€ for two people, this is correct especially in the cityfranche, the place very tourist. but we don't feel like eating in a seafood restaurant, it's a little bit of a shame.
