read moreClanton's Cafe is a hidden gem that has been serving delicious comfort food since 1927. The chicken roast steak and other dishes are well-seasoned and prepared with fresh ingredients, surpassing many trendy places in Dallas. The portions are large, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is full of Americana charm. Customers rave about the classic breakfast, hot hamburger plate, and homemade pies. The onion rings, burgers, and pies are all highly recommended. The wait for food can be a bit long, but it is well worth it for the quality of the food. Overall, Clanton's Cafe is a must-visit destination for those craving hearty, classic American dishes served with a side of nostalgia along Route 66.
