"We loved this place!!! Secure a great date place that is higher end quality but affordable! My friend is from Hawaii and was very impressed with her poke. The owner Lam treated us like VIPs and was so great to recommend the favorites. We had the salmon ceviche and WOW the combination of flavors was surprising and so good!! Salmon, mango, radish and freshly crispy Jalapeno slice! The prices for the amount of leaks were impressive. We didn't have alcohol with this meal, but her bar was impressive and you could say it was well managed. Ohana say Lam we said hello!"

We did not have a reservation as this was a last minute find for us: driving in from Galveston. Guess what: they were happy to accommodateKudos to Hope our waitress: kind, sweet and just beautiful as they come, and knowledgeable of the menu!!Love love the history of the building. This is one of many reasons that I LOVE TEXAS!On to dessert and after dinner drinks! Can hardly wait.....PS. Shout out to the manager for stopping by to let us know about the dumpling special. "One of my favorite places in the world. It gets busy sometimes, but the staff is great, the aesthetic is beautiful and the location of the house is near perfect. Once the weather gets cooler, this will be an even more appreciated place to hang out with your friends. This house reminds you of those coffee shops you see in movies in upstate New York or Maine, nestled in a small-town surrounded by forests or woodsy areas."
