fantastic and authentic looking ramen shop. the rolls are also amazing. a good menu with the friendly staff is very helpful on what is in any item. the beer and the bunge combo is very good. the animals are both Japanese and local and are all very complementary to the rams. do not be intimidated by the spicy menu items, they are not so spicy unless they demand the cook when adding fresh chilis. this is the place wher... What User doesn't like about Semi Permanent Ramen:
Now a Japanese chicken burger restaurant, with no Ramen to be seen, still cute and Japanese in style. The menu is simple, just burgers and tater tots (didn't know that was a Japanese thing, certainly didn't notice them when I was there). The Karaage fried chicken is actually tasty and crispy, but the portions are very small for the money, the burger we got was also very oily. I think they need to adjust portion sizes... Very good looking ramen in various broths. also other supplements were nice. casual and child-friendly. the service was attentive, and the environment was clean and tidy. we had the Tonkatsu wheels, tan-tanned rammen and tako yaki.

I'm so glad they opened a filiale in cbd, now I can just go to the Ramen shop. I can't speak for the meat dishes or the authenticity of the crows, but the veggie rämen options are absolutely divine! the amount is perfect fills them up, but they do not feel bloed because the broth is so light, but so very tasteful, thanks to delivered in part of the umami by the picked shishatake mushrooms.
Fantastic and authentic Japanese looking rammen shop, great atmosphere and beautiful staff with a short and simple menu that covers all bases well. even my Fussy partner enjoyed it! so a great place in wellington and will go again when I am next time there.
The Ramen Shop in Wellington is an Institution for lovers of great fresh full flavor Ramen. Good Ramen is as much a meticulous science as it is a high artform. To guarantee quality and freshness accross either the Newtown or CBD sites, each noodle is painstakingly produced in house in the style of traditional chukamen, using only flour and alkaline water. Utterly delicious to the last drop.
