"Wonderful restaurant. We were welcomed by the owner who was so warm and friendly! Food is delicious. I had the jerk chicken wrap with lettuce , tomatoes and a delicious pineapple salsa!! Well done! My wife had the fish and chips. Both were fresh.. the fish and fries were crispy and the Cole slaw was creamy and well balanced. We Overheard the people at next table say that the burgers they had were the best ever! Great service and all the staff was so friendly and made you feel welcome. Five star plus! Highly recommend the Island Cafe and Grill. We’ll definitely be back!!"

"Ok, as a local bucodder I hope that my review here gets more worth on the reader than some others here. Sure, maybe if they are in a city where more places are vegan-friendly, then need to wait 15 minutes for tempo (or call them ahead) is a problem. but seriously, it is really good, and the fact that they have it even as an option is great. many places around here do not even care about vegan protein as option. and when I went into today, they also had a delicious vegan cream of mushroom soup on special. So don't let them wait for the availability of options that we need to wait a few minutes. seriously? as far as cross-contamination goes, yes they serve meat and cheese, it is a common kitchen, so there is always this risk. that is true of any restaurant, they only prepare the food right in front of them here, so they can see it instead of it hidden in a kitchen. If that disturbs them, then I think they don't come here, but eating is great, the personal is always friendly, I give it 4 stars. if they are in the opposite, it is a good option for a healthy, filling lunch."

"Best time to get here is around 5 PM. Place packed and waiting line to get in if arriving later. Food and drinks were outstanding (we tried several since it was first time here). Had the lamb lolli pops, bang bang shrimp, and shrimp cocktail for appetizers. Great tasting and cooked food. We chose for the main course the tuna and the swordfish meals. Both were great. Finished off the night with a flourless chocolate cake with two scoops of vanilla ice cream to tone back the richness. Milos was our server and he did an outstanding job."
