Taco John's - White House

The tater tots were a standout; they were delightful, especially with the seasonal seasoning. The cinnamon churros were also impressive. However, the street tacos were a bit lacking in flavor, and the beef tacos tasted like cheap chili seasoning. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but with Taco Bell just around the corner, it might be a tough competitor. On a positive note, the staff was friendly, the dining area was clean, and the service was adequate.

Absolutely amazing! Not just "good for a truck stop," but truly outstanding. This was the freshest food we've ever had at a Taco John's (and we've been to quite a few). The manager even came over to check on us, just like in a nice sit-down restaurant. We noticed the manager cleaning plates and tidying up the area, demonstrating a commitment to cleanliness and service. This place is impeccable—fantastic job all around!

Let me start by saying that the people here are fantastic—very friendly and welcoming, which really enhances the dining experience. This was my first visit, and I noticed that the menu has a wide variety of options to choose from. However, the taco I ordered didn't quite meet my expectations; it looked nothing like the picture and was served cold. On the other hand, the loaded potato skins were quite enjoyable—hot and tasty, although there was a bit too much cheese and not enough bacon for my liking. Overall, I would definitely come back to this place and I recommend it, especially because of the wonderful staff.

Where's the meat? Worst taco salad I have ever had?? all I could taste was lettuce. I am not a rabbit
