What Eileen Powell doesn't like about Flemish Weaver:
I ordered the beef bourguignon for £16, and what I received was bland boiled beef and carrots swimming in a colorless broth. This was nothing like the traditional dish, which should feature beef and onions in a rich wine sauce. At the beginning of the month, the pub was under new management, and we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome from the friendly owner. The pub retains all of its rustic charm, and the food was exceptional with generous portions. It truly deserves high praise.
