"We visited for dinner on a Tuesday evening in December and were lucky to find a table for 3 without a reservation. The interior is traditional and quirky and there is a good selection of food (with a focus on potatoes! . I had the deep fried goose with red cabbage and potato dumplings which was delicious. The beer was also tasty."

"For a few years I have always been happy to come to the Palace of Citizens. Just in the warm season, the garden invites you. I find it nice that since the acquisition of the Blank family, Ansbacher Bratwürste are also offered. "Beautiful ambience, good food and appropriate service. Great cheeses! But it would also be nice if a declaration of the varieties would follow when serving cheese plates. Especially since the varieties vary. For 5 stars, however, we lack the extravagant dishes. Excellent are the wines that are offered! We will continue to be happy when we are in Bad Windsheim."
