"What a great place. We need a doggy friendly place to have an early lunch with wine tasting. The staff even brought out a doggy bowl with water! Then they helped with a two-point plug to load a camera battery. Then the food was top-class rotor Kirk was fresh, soft and tasty. Great livers. My son loved his simple beef burger. Beautiful location with magnificent views. Then the wines! They even organized an outdoor tasting!"

"What a great experience! From the moment you enter the gates you are transported into a magical wonderland. The gardens are just beautifully designed and manicured. The chapel is so unique and such a beautiful place to visit. We had breakfast at the coffee shop. Welcomed by the ducks, served by the friendly and helpful staff. The food was just beautiful. The views, just beautiful. All in all a great experience."

"Our stay at Opstal Stay was a memorable one. We had the most beautiful view from all the rooms. Hottub on the patio with a spectacular view. Cabin has everything you need and more. What made the stay even more special is the super hostess she is on point with everything from the lovely welcoming gifts to details of any problems you my have."

"It was a busy late morning Road trip in the July hols.... but we got amazing terrace seats with spectacular views. We have driven past this gem way too many times. And finally decided to stop there rather than our usual half way spot in Swellendam. So glad we did. Never even knew there was such a beautiful restaurant like that... you would never know driving past. Seated 10 min before breakfast closed... and we were told promptly so that we knew we had to decide quickly. So that was great, rather than missing out on their Breakfast menu. Food and service was just as divine as the venue/views. Pricey, but we'll worth it."
