Had our monthly ice cream fix from the Old Smithy Tea Rooms. The homemade ice cream is as always fantastic....so good we travel from Seascale 40 miles away for it. An added bonus was home made mince pies. We bought two to take out. They were absolutely delicious. Really love this place. An absolute gem in a wonderful village. View all feedback.

We just walked 9.5 miles and were looking forward to a nice cuppa. Tea was ok but Carrot cake was dry (probably been sitting around a few days as was last piece). Lady running the place needs some social skills! Very unwelcoming and dour. Go elsewhere. View all feedback.
