The lady who runs this restaurant is exceptionally friendly and went out of her way to accommodate our large group. All the food from fondues to salads to children's meals was delicious. There was also a good choice of puddings including my children's favourite "Dame Blanche" ice-cream. Nearly ruined our Christmas. Despite emailing to reserve a table and then confirming we would be arriving Christmas Eve, we turned up to be refused a table. No apology offered, instead just insinuations that we hadn’t properly confirmed. I had to show two email replies (the one wasn’t enough) and then a shrug of the shoulders, as if ‘tough luck’.
